Wells Fargo Advantage VT Money Market Fund to be Liquidated

Recently, the Wells Fargo Advantage Funds Board of Trustees voted to liquidate the Wells Fargo Advantage VT Money Market Fund. The Board believes that a liquidation of the Fund is in the best interests of investors based, in part, on a review of the Fund's long-term viability given its current and projected asset size.

Effective on or about April 30, 2010, the Wells Fargo Advantage VT Money Market Fund will be liquidated and all shares will be redeemed at the close of market on that date. As a result, the Fund will be closed to additional insurance companies as of December 31, 2009.

No action is required by investors at this time. Additional details will follow.
